AT THE LAKE

And the rush of the sea
flows to and through me
Carried by the sparkle of the light
upon each rippling wave.

Carried to the shore 
then out to sea once more.
Ebbing. Flowing ~
This is where I've been
until the magic,
of this moment, when ...

The light upon the water,
The light within your soul,
The light touch, of your gifted hands.
Have set me free once more.

And an angel came,
with trumpet in hand.
and played for me
and then we danced.

Upon the salt sea drenched sand,
and nary a footprint, did we land
For the waves and the music
raised us on high, so grand.

Come away with me.
Dry your salt sea tears.
And remember always,
the dance we have shared.

Here, amidst the drift of the sea,
held in the arms of the ocean aire.
Held by the magic, none can compare.
Where we danced together ...
