THE DREAMING WINTER LADY

Dec 31, 2010
Of: "The Dreaming Winter Lady"~ by Tone Aanderaa
Amidst the beautiful music by Nicky Bendix

"Greetings From The Dreaming Winter Lady"

        I can almost hear
the shimmering glistenings on the snow.
And oh, how lovely this winter lady appears,
So pure and gentle, soft and dear.

Amidst the garden's of winter white,
Young saplings await the sun's warm light.

And while they wait, a trail leads between them,
As we walk bewitching us with a magic.

And the sky talks, through the trees.

And the field awaits all our dreams.

The  footsteps in the snow invite us in.
And the lean of many branches,
beckons us to sit, on one lone snowy bench,
or to climb, where our dreams may never end.

Cattails stand proudly in the frozen pond.
A little boat awaits, idle on the shore of this little lake.

        She is so lovely,
        so warm her heart,
        she does not freeze.
She is lined with trees, so very young.

"Where all such beauty awaits you,
In the gardens of Tone Aanderaa,
In the midst of painted dreams."

A wishing-well now blanketed with snow,
Opens to a memory of spring and summer's dreams,
Reminding us of what will be.

        I will wait,
I will wait until the day,
when I can go to see,
        All that awaits me
        within this enchanted garden of;
"The Dreaming Winter Lady," so serene.

Oh the white dove, she coo'ed
        and the White Owl Whoo'd.
It was then, the Stag boughed down and spoke aloud,
        Welcome one and all.

All those who visit and seek
inner wisdom, sweet peace and serenity,
may you find all such beauty here."
