Inspired Reflections of; "All Souls Lullaby"

Heidi Anne Breyer and Alexander Volkov: All Souls Lullaby

All Souls Lullaby

Boris Pasternak's poetry, leads us toward a beach house of weathering wood.
Where shutters flung wide,  open to all that lay before us.
Where dreams flow as streaming waters do.
Where there are those shadows that fall too.
But there are also flowers that await us amidst sunshine's glow.

We oft wait for one, whom we do not know.
Even in their absence we do not feel alone.
A song has been scripted on our soul,
written for one to read and play in this lifetime.

An old and worn instrument lay within it's case, unopened.
A breeze drifts off the lake and blows memories through,
into the open windows of our mind. Into our keeping.

A book lies open, it's pages blank.
Inviting one to enter into script, their life story.
Though shadows fall upon it's pages, this is the way of things.

     For you understand as I do that;
We don't walk alone. We are two.
Together in spirit, wherever we be.
We look out toward the horizon,
though the view be not so clear,
We know not, what lay before us ...
Yet the sun, so brightly, shines through.

Tendrils of fern, reach wide, into the sun's glow,
Pages reveal words. Someone has written, upon them.
Across the sea or amidst fields of flowers ~
wherever life carries us,
the story of our life, lies waiting.

Thank You Anne Breyer and Alexander Volkov for your inspiration.
