        "Echoes of Skylight"
              
                Glimmering upon still waters
                ... Silhouettes of shadows ~
                Haunting memories of stillness.
                And yet the stillness, lull-a-byes us.
               
               Tender droplets of sky-fallen tears,
                Grasp hold the branches & twigs
                To cling with the promises they bring ~
                In hopes of spring.
               
                And flowers catch the sun ~
                though hidden and unseen.
                And still ~
                Their perfume rises into my memory.
                Who could deny, she had arrived.
               
                I hear her whisperings.
                I hear her song.
                Tenderly, she touches down, e're so near.
                Sh-sh ~ I hear her approaching now.
